Fuji Xerox Announces Call for Entries for 2010 PIXI Awards
Asia Pacific, August 26, 2010 - Fuji Xerox once again has invited their customers to enter their best work for this year's printing awards. The PIXI (Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging) Awards now in its third year rewards the users of Fuji Xerox solutions for their innovation in print. There are eight categories this time. Books & Manuals, Brochures & Catalogues, Leaflets & Flyers, Posters, Calendars & Photobooks, Cards & Invitations, Multi-piece and TransPromo. In addition to attract the corporate user industry specific entries have been added this year. As is usual there is an Environmental Award, one for using Digital & Offset together and another for the most Innovative use of digital technology.
The judges for the awards, all independent of Fuji Xerox, are always amazed by the entries and continuing PIXI Judge Alf Carrigan, a 50 year veteran of the traditional print industry says, 'There are times when even I have difficulty telling whether a piece has been produced by offset or digital'. This is clearly a great accolade, not only to the Fuji Xerox customers who enter PIXI, but also to the evolution of digital technology in general.
The awards are about rewarding customer excellence. 'It is one of the greatest pleasures for us at Fuji Xerox to award our customers for great work and see the pride in their achievement' says Mike Braggins, Regional Manager, MarCom who is responsible for the PIXI Awards at Fuji Xerox. 'And one of the best things is that it's free to enter, no risk but plenty to gain!'
The competition will be open until 17th September so send your entries now. As many past award winners have found, success in the PIXI Awards can assist in marketing to their clients.
