Winning at Work, Humming at Home

In recent years, demands of the modern workplace have crept up and significantly impacted family and community life. One of the work-life excellence schemes that we have introduced is the flexi-work arrangement since 2006. The arrangement was introduced with the intention to support staff who need to vary working hours, so that they can arrange their working schedule to better suit their children's schedule and family needs. At the workplace, we have also set up a children's playroom that is equipped with a variety of toys and games to help parents who are unable to make ad-hoc babysitting arrangements. This ensures that their child will be kept occupied throughout the day, and they are better able to focus on their work.

Wireless connectivity on mobile laptops ensure that staff are not restricted to working from their cubicles and can work from practically anywhere within the office. This makes life easier for parents who bring their children to work, as they can then find a suitable spot within the office to work and at the same time, tend to their children.

Furthermore, staff are also more than welcome to bring along family members to join in various staff activities. Through all these, we hope to make FXS a great place to work in, where happy and engaged employees can work, grow and win together.
