The DocuCentre C7550I is a comprehensive colour multifunction system which embodies the perfect solution to your document processing needs. With speeds of 75 ipm in black and white and 50 ipm in colour, this device extends the boundaries of traditional multifunction devices. So whether printing, copying or scanning, users can expect remarkable functionality and output quality at unrivalled speeds.

The DocuCentre C7550 I contains many print features, the most notable being true 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution, thanks to the implementation of new and advanced image processing technology. Users can now enjoy production of exceptional quality output. It also allows for secure printing; print jobs are sent to the device and will only begin printing after the use enters a predefined password. This avoids unnecessary printing and cuts down on cost.

Known for its versatility, the DocuCentre C7550 I allows for documents to be saved to a mailbox through the Printer Driver or by scanning at the device for merging purposes. The device also supports print features like Hard Disk Drive Encryption / Overwrite, Watermark Printing, Security Watermark and Favourite Print Settings.

Another of the DocuCentre C7550 I’s strengths is its copy features. With a Single Pass Duplexing Document Feeder, both sides of a document can be scanned at once, cutting down on time needed to flip the document to the other side. It has the Annotation feature that allows insertion of the date, time and/or page numbers into the copied documents. With the Job Build function, users can divide a copy job into various segments and employ unique programming to each segment, doing away with the need for manual collation.

Features

The use of EA-HG (Emulsion Aggregation-High Grade) toner helps boost the reproducibility of subtle hues of red, blue and green, thereby enhancing image quality. Four separate VCSELs (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers) with 32 beams each have been incorporated in the hybrid tandem engine. Each color is scanned by the 32 beams to achieve a resolution of 2,400 dpi.

An image compressionNote3 feature means that multiple documents can be effectively transformed into DocuWorksNote4 or PDFNote5format by compressing scanned text and graphics at the required compression ratio. It is also possible to print high volume color documents using a compression feature that eliminates any burden on the network.
