XMPie offer variable-data publishing (VDP) solutions for a wide range of personalised applications. From entry-level print campaigns, to cross media campaigns, XMPie has a range of solutions for different application requirements. All XMPie products share underlying technologies, allowing a seamless collaboration and migration path as your needs grow.

Personal Effect

XMPie PersonalEffect allows users to create integrated, cross-media campaigns tailored to suit individual needs and interests. PersonalEffect is the first-ever software of its kind that matches the agency workflow. Creative people use their own tools for design. Database professionals have a tool to build the business rules. Production people have a separate "campaign-dashboard." The three components work together in one elegant, streamlined solution. PersonalEffect includes three core modular components: uPlan, uCreate, and uProduce.

uPlan enables the database professional to specify and control the business logic (rules), Dynamic Objects,and database schema of a given campaign. uPlan works with most leading databases, including Oracle, MS MS Access, and IBM DB2.             uCreate is a set of plug-ins for the art-director and the design studio that integrate with leading design applications including Adobe InDesign, Adobe GoLive, and Macromedia Dreamweaver. uCreate enables the designer to create, modify, and view a dynamic document, easily placing Dynamic Objects (created in uPlan) into the layout.             uProduce is the production 'dashboard' and links the plan, layouts, database, and media assets through a browser-based interface. uProduce provides powerful server technology that automatically the individual copies in all formats needed for digital print, including VIPP, PPML, VPS, and PDF. Text HTML are supported for e-mail, web, and SMS campaigns.

uDirect Standard

Any Macintosh or Windows user with Adobe InDesign CS and a flat-table data file can complete a Variable Data Print (VDP) document independently -- no programming is required. A simple Rule Editor is supplied if the conditional logic is desired. Creates an industry-standard VI output file for printing on a digital press.

uDirect Professional

A dual-desktop solution, uDirect Professional has all of the capabilities of uDirect Standard for the designer, plus uPlan, an advanced programming tool for variable-data projects where the data comes from multiple sources or complex business logic is required

uChart

uChart provides the ability to create data-driven variable charting within variable data documents. With a simple double-click, variable tabular information can be displayed as pie, bar, area or line charts to which a user can assign standard attributes such as legends, fonts and colours. uChart references the colour palette from InDesign to maintain colour consistency and offers true WYSIWYG proofing throughout the design process.

uImage

uImage produces and integrates rich, breathtaking, image personalisation effects with variable data publishing. Adobe Photoshop users can product powerful, visually rich, personalised images and graphics, and seamlessly merge them into XMPie variable publishing, in print or online.

uStore

uStore is a self-contained Web-to-Print application for variable and static documents that allows print providers, creative agencies, and corporate marketing departments to quickly set up branded, e-commerce enabled, online stores without involving programmers. uStore enables online document ordering and customisation. It lets you set up unique branded stores for multiple internal or external customers, tailoring preferences and parameters to fit each customer.

uGen

APIs & uGen enable custom development of applications which can integrate with existing applications and build "lights out" automation. uGen provides a rapid web-development environment for web-to-print applications through a wizard-style interface which guides the user through a sequence of steps to buiuld a prototype web application.

XLIM

XLIM (pronounced "slim") is the XMPie technology for construction and composition of business documents for variable-data applications. By taking advantage of their graphically simple nature and high percentage of variable text, XLIM provides fast output stream generation -- typically thousands of pages per minute.

Extension Servers

Extension Servers provide the ability to process multiple print campaigns simultaneously. An Extension Server is run on a seperate server to uProduce, and enables production of a campaign or campaigns to be load-balanced across multiple servers.

iWay Integration

iWay Integration into PersonalEffect can be enabled through an iWay integration module. This module allows printers to seamlessly connect PersonalEffect into the complete Print Workflow management functionality of iWay Prime. With this product combination, customers can create powerful dynamic documents in PersonalEffect, then use iWay Prime to customise and order personalised documents online.
